Things I've learned while being a hairstylist, through my clients edition:

• dont wait, take the trip. Take out a loan, go into debt over it. You can make more money. You can't buy more time. Some of the biggest regrets are not seeing the people you love or the places you want to because of cost.

• Make amendments with your family. No one is perfect we all have our flaws. Say youre sorry, say I love you, say I miss you, say I want you apart of my life.

• try your hardest to live without regrets. If you have to, burn it all down and start from scratch. The amount of elderly that have sat in my chair full of regret that is easily obtainable, they just have to let get of others opinions, is truly heartbreaking.

• say you're SORRY, GROW, LEARN, HEAL, LOVE. I've been in customer service for 20 years, hair for 14, and life for 37 years, start with an apology, heal and grow from it.

•depression is a place NO ONE should be. We are not perfectly ran machines. Machines aren't even perfect. They need to be repaired all of the time. Give yourself and other grace. Its free. Let go of perfection and love others and yourself for any and all imperfections. Trust me when they're gone, those imperfections mean a lot less and you will wish you focused on the great parts of them.

• be kind to yourself! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.

YOU ARE HARDER ON YOURSELF THAN ANYONE ELSE WILL EVER BE.

physically and emotionally, the second that ugly black cape goes around someone's neck, the nastiest things about themselves may come out. ...look at my wrinkles, I need to loose weight, wow I look horrible, I'm gross, Im not good enough.

It breaks my heart. Most people wouldn't allow and enemy to speak about themselves the way they speak about themselves. STOP THAT. Your nervous system hears you.

DO you understand the chances of you being born? I dont either but i know there was a lot of wasted seman before GOD chose you, so choose yourself!

I love you all. I've tried to put into words how I feel. Im not a writer and mostly only an artist in hair, but I know what true love and grit look like and you have it.
