Brow mapping is the step that makes the biggest difference!

Your brows should be shaped based on *your* unique facial structure, not whatever shape is trending on social media. A good brow artist will take the time to map your brows first, study your natural shape, and figure out what will actually complement your features. They will also see the differences between both brows (because brows are never twins), and try to minimize those differences to make your face look more symmetrical.
