Hello FB Friends and Family! I wanted to put out a PSA. I have been sick with bronchitis for a week now since I styled a pageant in Houston. This is the sickest I have been since I had Covid 2 years ago! A client got me sick while styling her in my chair, and I know exactly who it was that got me sick. There is no question in my mind how and where I got sick. With that said, going forward, if I have any indication you or your child is sick I will NOT be styling you/them. Full stop. Frankly, you and/or your child shouldn't even be attending the pageant. This is 2024. We shouldn't even be having this conversation and this shouldn't have to be brought up. Please keep your germs and sickness to yourself and stay home. Or if you are traveling, stay in your hotel room and rest until it's time for you to return home. And do not even try to tell me it's "Allergies". I am not taking that risk. If you want credit for another pageant date, I will be happy to honor that. But I will not be refunding monies paid because I have to pay for my travel for these events. I am miserable, with my body hurting from all the coughing, wheezing, and chest tightness from my asthma. I am sorry for all the people waiting on photo edits, but I just can not sit in front of a computer right now. My face and eyes are so swollen and tired that just looking at the monitor hurts. I am hoping to be back fully up and running soon. Obviously this was a sign that I needed to do absolutely nothing, and thankfully I was sick during the freeze so I couldn't go out even if I wanted to. I am sooo blessed that somehow neither Mike nor Ian have gotten sick. They are too precious to me to be bringing home sickness from styling. So I will be protecting myself and more diligent about saying no and turning down clients that I feel are a risk of getting me or any other artist. Thank you in advance for your understanding on this sensitive topic.
