My attempt at #natilusbraids went pretty well. As a new #cosmetologystudent at #oglesanantonio I’m going to be upfront and honest with my skills, outcomes, triumphs, and disappointments. #practicemakesperfect and I want to be able to look back and say “wow that was rough, I’m so improved now!” So on to the rough. I initially wasn’t pulling the beginning braid tight enough and then I added to thick of hair hanks in, making the braid too heavy. 2nd attempt went much better. So I ran myself through AI… now I know what I look like as an elderly #zombie lol. Anyway my recent hair coloring was successful. The rose tint neutralized the green tones so the blue came out darker steel toned. We had an AI #mannequinchallenge at #ogleschool & I created a #forestdryad. After #braiding & styling her, I used #dream & #canva running photos through a series of prompts. I have mixed feelings about AI, being acutely aware of the social/environmental damage it’s causing. The technology itself isn’t to blame, but how the owners r financing & employing it.
