To our loyal community: It is with a heavy heart that we announce V’s Barbershop in San Clemente will be permanently closing its doors on April 18th.
We’ve had an incredible 18-year run. We’ve met thousands of wonderful people and had the honor of styling generations of families—seeing boys from our early years grow up and bring in their own sons has been a true privilege. As the saying goes, "all good things must come to an end," and our chapter here is drawing to a close.
Between now and April 18th, we’d love for you to stop by. Come say hello and get one last cut or shave from the familiar faces who have been part of your lives.
From all of us—Chon, Brennan, Aubrey, Dave, Bea, and Sergio—and especially from me, thank you for your patronage and friendship all these years.

Some of you folks are early risers and we're trying to give you something to do while the dew is still on the grass. So Chon is now starting at 8:00am Wednesday through Saturday. We've been happy to consistently provide the best barbering experience in San Clemente for the past 16 years but we need to get the word out. Please help us with a little slice of your time. V's would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and concern for us - your visits, calls and thoughtfulness is truly appreciated - some of our competitors even offered their facilities to us but they weren't needed (thanks anyway guys). San Clemente is a great place!

The photos are from last Friday morning. We've been limping along but operational since that afternoon after a lot of clean up. The contractors have been great and the shop wall is mostly returned to normal - painting is happening next Monday. Still have some work to do but we have credit card processing and phones working again.

Aubrey is back at work with a few scrapes and bumps from the 'incident' but basically ok, Chon, Dave, Brennan and everyone else is fine and undamaged. We'd love to have you come in for a cut or shave so let's make that happen soon.

Someone left tire marks on the barbershop floor last Friday morning, so now everybody is being penalized - no more parking inside the shop from now on - keep your cars outside please. 😀😀

While we were closed most of Friday after 'the incident', we reopened bright and early on Saturday for a full day of haircuts and shaves. We'll be following our regular schedule - barring some other weird event - of 9-6 M-F and 9-5 Sat. So we had a little problem with the "Drive Thru Barbershop" Beta Version. :) We were offline for the day but did a major reboot this afternoon. We'll be running with everyone but Aubrey tomorrow (she got a little dinged up trying to wrestle a Porsche coming through the wall from the State Farm office). Feel free to come by tomorrow to get the best haircut in San Clemente or just to say hi and look at the damage - but please leave your cars in the parking lot this time!
