What are volume lashes exactly?

- It’s when there is more than one extension attached to your natural lash

- 2, 3, 4, 5+ extensions connected at the base to create a fan. That fan is then placed on one of your natural lashes

Why can we attach more extensions, wouldn’t this damage the natural lash?

- The diameters used for volume are smaller than what we would use for classic lashes. Volume extensions are light weight and soft because of their thinner diameter.

Volume is a great option for those who want denser lashes, but don’t have the support of lots of natural lashes. 😊

So it’s been a while....
But I’m here and back with some Classic action!
Clients ask me all the time, what do you do more of, Classic or Volume?
Honestly, it’s half and half. I really enjoy doing both techniques because each has its own set of challenges and artistry that goes into it. 🎨
Lash Artists let me know what you do more of... Classic lashes, Volume lashes or maybe Hybrids? Is there one you prefer more than the other? I feel like on Instagram all I see is Volumes and that’s awesome, any Classic lovers out there?

CLIENTS remember to maintain your beautiful lashes with the proper aftercare! 🧼🛁✨
You want to make sure you are cleaning your lashes daily using your lash shampoo and cleansing brush!
Very simple and only takes couple minutes!
1. Put a pump of shampoo directly on your lashes.
2. Take your cleansing brush, wet it and in a downward motion, brush through your extensions right on that lash line!
*Don’t be afraid to get in there with your brush, gently of course! 😉
3. Rinse with water and repeat on the other eye.
4. You can dab with tissue and let your lashes air dry.
5. Then take your lash wand and brush your extensions to separate.
The end!
Super easy, but very effective!
This helps prevent any oil/makeup build up, bacteria, buggies, eye crusties, infection and all that icky stuff we do not want!🙅🏻‍♀️
Remember....clean lashes are happy lashes! ☺️🙌🏼
Also it’s very important to do this process before you come into your touch up appointment!! 🙏🏼
It makes a world of difference. I want nice, squeaky clean lashes before your appointment so that the adhesive has a clean attachment to the natural lash with no oily barriers in between. Also, I dont want to spend your touch up time with cleansing (I will if needed) but I want to be able to best utilize your appointment for removing grown out extensions and filling you up as much as possible! ❤️
