✨ Not an ingrown just trapped hair ✨

Sometimes hair is fully grown but covered by a thin layer of skin. This is called trapped (encased) hair and it’s totally normal.

It’s growing in the right direction, just needs to be gently freed so it can sugar out properly. It can happen due to dehydrated skin, compacted dead skin, or friction from tight clothing.

Hydration + gentle exfoliation help prevent it over time 🤍
