When you have type 1 diabetes, a nutritious diet is crucial๐Ÿ˜ƒ. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy tasty food, even some of your favorites.
Many common vegetables, including potatoes, corn, and peas, naturally contain starch, a type of sugar. When determining your daily carbohydrate consumption, you should take into account that starchy vegetables have a higher carbohydrate content than other vegetables.๐Ÿ˜Ž

Non-starchy veggies are high in vitamins, minerals, fiber, and phytochemicals and have a minimal effect on blood sugar levels. Up to three cups of these vegetables can be consumed at each meal without significantly affecting your blood sugar levels.๐Ÿ˜
Choose Non-starchy vegetables and fill your meal plate with them to stay away from high blood glucose. ๐Ÿค

Fructose, a typical natural monosaccharide, can be found in honey, various vegetables, and fruits.๐Ÿ‘Œ High fructose corn syrup is a cheap substitute for sucrose in processed goods and it is the reason to avoid the consumption of processed food.

Consuming fructose as "free fructose," which is naturally present in foods like fruit that also contain fibre, may improve glycemic control when compared to isocaloric intake of sucrose or starch, and as long as intake is moderate, free fructose is unlikely to have a negative impact on triglycerides.๐Ÿ˜Ž
To prevent the risk of weight g*in and deterioration of the cardio metabolic risk profile, people with diabetes should limit or avoid consumption of sugar-sweetened drinks ๐Ÿ˜ฒ(from any caloric sweetener, including high-fructose corn syrup and sucrose).

So to manage your weight stop eating process foods and substitute them with fresh fruits. t and we have a prize for you. ๐Ÿ˜

All the vitamins are not found in one food source, and deficiencies are a result of insufficient or improper vitamin consumption.๐Ÿง This suggests that various diets or external supplements are required to satisfy the body's vitamin needs. ๐Ÿ˜ŽNotably, micronutrient (vitamin) malnutrition in a person could be a sign of vitamin deficiency, caused by variables that affect vitamin absorption in addition to inadequate consumption of meals high in vitamins.๐Ÿ˜€ In addition to insufficient consumption of vitamin-rich foods, intestinal disease, genetic defects in transport molecules, interactions with specific medications and certain food ingredients, and excessive alcohol consumption are some of the factors that can result in vitamin deficiency as a result of impaired intestinal vitamin absorption.๐Ÿ˜ตโ€
What is your takeaway? Extra supplementation ? YES.๐Ÿ‘Œ Lifestyle mindfulness? Definitely YES๐Ÿ‘

Based on an article published in 2021 in PeerJ , "Revisiting food-sourced vitamins for consumer diet and health needs

"The well-known thirteen vitamins have traditionally been categorized in human nutrition based on their solubility, which includes: fat-soluble (hydrophobic) and water-soluble (hydrophilic) vitamins๐Ÿ˜‡.

Although it is commonly recognized that practically all vitamins are necessary for physiological functions๐Ÿ˜Ž and must be taken from food, some vitamins, such as vitamins D, B7, and K, which the body can synthesize on its own, are not officially regarded as "essential."๐Ÿง๐Ÿฆ
What is your takeaway? Always check the label for essential ingredients. Let the body do its job ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ˜
