For the Gala, I leaned into my darker side with this gothic-inspired set in shades of silver, gray, and black by my forever nail artist

This month’s is giving medieval Y2K in the best way ⚔️💿🖤
This entire set was vision — from the first sketch to every dark, edgy little detail. I love how each nail has its own personality while still feeling perfectly connected together. A little armor, a little attitude, a little early-2000s rebellion… honestly obsessed.
Creative minds like this are what keep nail art so exciting.
Now I’m curious… when you create a mix-and-match set, how do you plan it out? Do you sketch first or let the ideas evolve nail by nail?

47 years ago today, in 1979, a dream began in our family home with Mom, Dad, and my siblings.
A spark shared between my brother Jim and me, two young dreamers imagining a new future for the professional nail industry.
Jim was my co-founder for the first 18 years of that journey. His creativity, brilliance, and belief helped shape our earliest breakthroughs. His impact was foundational.
As I look back on 46 years of carrying this mission forward, this family photo from 1979 reminds me of the roots: family, courage, and the belief that we could build something meaningful.
Jim — your part of the story will always matter.
And today, as we celebrate CND’s 47th anniversary, I honor both where we started and all that has grown since.
