Lil miss took the train in from LA to SD for some hair TLC.
Yeah, I’m worth the trip😉
And she was long overdue.
26 years and I’m the only one who touches her hair.

It’s worth the wait…
My first color session with Yvette was late 2019. Her hair was damaged and broken from over processing. My primary focus was restoring the health of her hair while giving her a color and cut that complimented her skin tone and eye color. On our first appointment I added lowlights and a few highlights. I also used Olaplex to restore the strength of her hair and prevent further breakage. Each session I adjusted her color formula and application working towards our goal, long healthy hair with her natural color as the base and balayage highlights of varying shades of caramel and blonde throughout.
Today, after assessment of the health of her hair I determined she was ready for Balyage!!! I worked around her existing highlights and used the balayage technique to lighten and highlight her ends, regrowth, and throughout the back. Afterwards I did a gloss, an Olaplex treatment, and a conditioning treatment, and a cut.
Here we are 2 1/2 years later. The results speak for themselves.
It is worth the wait.

2nd Balayage Session ☺️👌🏻
Achieving your goal color takes time sometimes. Especially if you have extreme previous color changes- dark to light then back to dark again etc. The previously lightened and (usually) damaged hair is still there underneath the dark color and that plays a big part of how light you can go again and what your hair will withstand.
