Before the day is done, I just want to say, that TODAY WE ARE 3!! 🙏🏼😭🤩

I have been thinking about this day for about a month now and truthfully when I first started in 2019, I didn’t know if this would be a milestone we’d hit. I wasn’t looking that far ahead tbh. I was just trying to get that outline down 🥵😂 and practicing everyday!!

Now we have dropped a couple letters from our name (B R W S M D E) 😅, we have been in 3 locations - expanding with each, become a hub for growing artists, launched 2 online courses, taught many student, services even more clients, grew through a pandemic, and lastly we hit 10k followers!! I appreciate all of you who even care to follow us and see our brow posts 🥺 and even more to the ones who interact 🙏🏼 We are forever grateful 💛

I say we and us because my husband has been my partner throughout all this ❤️ his favorite story to tell is that he paid the deposit for my first course 🥹
But truth is I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without him. He runs so much of the behind the scenes that if you’ve ever DM’d me it’s a 50% chance it’s him replying 🤣🤣 and when I’m down and feeling overwhelmed he steps in so quick and takes so much off my plate 🥰 he is my entire sanity.
The best part about all this is our children are front row watching their parents build something together. That fact alone makes it all so worth it.

If you’re a young entrepreneur, the best advice I have for you is, fake it til you make it. We’ve all heard this but it’s so true when it comes to starting a business. You don’t have to have it all figured out right away. You learn so much as you go as long as you stay mindful. Google is going to be your best friend, that’s a fact!! Lol. So don’t ever not start something because you didn’t know how. We all didn’t know how, but we all figured it out. You got this 💪

Coverup of old microblading ✨

Reshaping this was a bit tricky. Some of her strokes extended past the shape. I’m assuming this is the design her previous artist chose to mimic the untamed look of natural hair.

Preserving the perfect amount of bold without overpowering her face meant that I needed to let the ends of a few strokes peek through. But they’re light and not noticeable and will continue to fade - this isn’t worth covering to compromise your new shape and not worth saline removal and cause unneeded trauma to the skin.

Did you know you can use skincare products at home to help lighten your PMU? Retinol, hyaluronic acid, vitamin c, and rose hip oil to name a few. Do this instead when your old PMU is at low saturation.
