• Tanning bed use
• Living in sunny climates or high elevations
• Weakened immune system
• Previous skin damage from UV exposure
• Certain genetic factors

✨ 10 years in this industry… and wow, what a journey it’s been.✨

This story really began in 2012, when I moved to San Diego right after my first melanoma diagnosis—with nothing but a dream, a job at Starbucks, and a place to stay with my best friend, Rachel. I didn’t have it all figured out—but I knew I wanted more for myself.

Not long after, I met the love of my life, Stephen, who saw something in me before I fully saw it in myself. He pushed me to take the leap and enroll in esthetics school at Bellus Academy in 2015—and that decision changed everything.

I graduated in the top 3 of my class, but that was just the beginning. I stayed hungry. I kept learning. I invested in my craft, my clients, and eventually… my own business.

Almost 5 years ago, I opened The Skin Craft—something that once felt so far out of reach. Today, it’s not just a business, it’s a space built on trust, results, relationships, and intention.

To every single client who has trusted me with their skin over the years—thank you. You’ve allowed me to do what I love every single day, and I don’t take that lightly.

Big changes are happening at The Skin Craft — We’re moving!

Over the next couple of weeks, availability will be limited as I transition into a new space. To keep everything running smoothly, we’ll be closed the last week of February and plan to reopen after the first week of March.

The new location is near 4th & Spruce, right by Balboa Park 🌿
When you enter The Skin Craft into Google Maps, you’ll be guided to the updated address automatically.

The new studio includes 4.5 treatment rooms, a large lobby, and a bathroom, giving us more room to grow while maintaining the quiet, intentional experience you expect. I designed this space with clients first — and with the flexibility to eventually share it with a couple of like-minded estheticians down the road.

February is moving fast — if you’re due for a facial or wax, now is the time to book before availability tightens during the move.
Skincare products and refills are still available throughout the transition.
