I had the opportunity to work with these two lovely ladies and bring out the best in their natural curls during my latest brand photoshoot! Carefully diffusing their curls, I coaxed their curls into beautifully defined spirals, adding that coveted bounce and volume. I absolutely loved how these looks came out.

One tip for girls who are just starting out with diffusing, use a bit of hairspray when the hair is still wet for better results.

For those of you who have been following me for a while know that I LOVE competing in competitions.

Here’s my entry for the Moroccanoil Global Hair Competition.

1) styled using curl control mousse to sculpt & topped with strong hold gel for long lasting hold.

2) GoldieLocks! I’ve been using powder lightener as my go to since it launched! The lift is so efficient and safe on curls.
Toned with 8N + 9VB (equal parts)

3) Copper Dimensions! combination of slices, weaves and teasylights using open air processing.
Toned using calypso 15g 7CR + 5g 5CR

4) Trifecta! custom block color placement &
I used HighLift (blue) +30vol to lift from brunette to strawberry blonde/ginger. We kept pops of her natural for contrast and lifted with for blonde accents.

5)Toner Treatment and Trim.
refreshed toner using 5N + 6BGR (equal parts). For treatment weightless hydrating mask + to extra longevity and richness. Finished style with luminous hairspray for an unmatched sheen & mending fusion to polish and sculpt ends.
