I wanted to check in since it’s been a while and share that during this quarantine I have been keeping busy with many different things one of which has been “GARDENING”! 🤗 (Who would have thought let’s be real 😂) But let me tell you it’s been so fun lately! 🌱 I get so excited when I see my little plants growing! 😍 One of the plants that I am excited about in sharing with you is my Aloe Vera Plant.⁣⁣

Did you know that you can grow an Aloe plant by cutting the tip off of one Aloe leaf⁣ and planting it! Crazy.⁣

I have planted some Aloe because I have decided to incorporate it in my nightly routine. I apply it on my face every night right before I go to bed (sometimes mornings too depending what my day consists of)⁣⁣

There are SOOO many wonderful benefits to Aloe, its insane. I love the part that Aloe is one plant which has been consistent in its healing and beautifying properties. In fact, if you read the ingredients section of most of the skincare products, you are bound to come across “includes aloe extract” everywhere. ⁣⁣

Taping back lashes is a technique used in order to see those pesky lashes underneath all the other lashes. Sometime you think you have them all until you reveal more by taping back! Try it!

Work all angles and don’t be afraid to tape back. Just make sure you are not opening the clients eye as the fumes of the glue can make the eyes tear up. ⁣

I just realized I haven’t posted on Instagram since December! 😲 Sometimes you get so caught up and busy that you forget to take before and afters or you are back to back with clients that you are limited in time 🤦🏼‍♀️ But NO EXCUSES! Always try to remember to take your before and afters! ⁣

With that being said.. look at this beautiful transformation! Not only does this client already have beautiful eyes but getting lash extensions has added that little extra to make her eyes POP 💥⁣

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS:⁣

•Do not expose lashes to water, heat or steam for the first 24hrs⁣
⁣
•Avoid oil-based products around your eyes⁣
(Creams, mascara, eyeliner, etc.)⁣
⁣
•No picking, rubbing or pulling on your lashes ⁣
⁣
•Gently cleanse your lashes with a lash cleanser (especially day of lash fill appointment)⁣
⁣
•Avoid sleeping on your face ⁣
⁣
•Brush your lashes daily with your spoolie⁣
⁣
•Make sure to schedule your fill every 2 weeks for it to be considered a refill.⁣
(After 2 weeks price will vary depending on your lashes) ⁣

When it’s time for refills should you wash your lashes before coming in?⁣
⁣
YES! ⁣

Keeping your lashes clean and healthy is a must everyday AND especially before coming in to your appointment!⁣

What happens when you don’t clean your lashes and you come for a refill.....⁣
⁣
Well, when we apply the lash extension dipped in glue the glue will adhere to any residue or oils on the natural lash which will affect your retention in the long run! 🤯⁣

Another reminder!⁣
Remember that refills are considered refills when you come in with 40-50% of lashes still remaining otherwise it is NOT a regular refill price.⁣
