Taking a break from highlights can fast track your way to healthier hair?
I love that more and more blondes are opting for lowlights in the summer months.
-This adds dimension, an opportunity to break hair from highlights and offers a way to switch things up a bit. And you can still identify as a blonde! That’s a win win, right? 🏆 🏆
It’s been 6 months since this clients last highlight. We just do her root touch up, gloss and trim.
This time we added lowlights for some balancing and voila! Also, we cut 3 inches to bring it to the shoulder blades.
Loving the dimension, the lived-in feel (this means her highlights don’t look as if they grow out of the scalp) and not-to-mention her ends are SOOOOO happy and way more summer proof! 💪🏻😎

We finished with a 1.25 inch barrel beach curl. We love it!

A slice (teased highlight panels) and
smudge (root application) technique was used to
create panels of blonde for my client Laurie. She
wanted lots of lightening so this was a great, time
saving approach. We kept her base true to her
natural tone for a low maintenance upkeep. A nice
