Launching 𝕓ℝ𝔸𝕍𝔼 𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤 began as a passion project to give back to the community who restored my faith in humanity after a horrible sexual assault I survived in 2017.

I wanted to use my creative talents as a licensed cosmetologist and bring beauty, confidence, hope, freedom of expression, reminders of consent & value, practical suggestions on safety, personal guidance on valuable insights I learned while recovering and healing from this trauma, and more to my lovely clients during their braiding appointments.

Launching a teaches you so many lessons, but the greatest is . The last two years, 𝕓ℝ𝔸𝕍𝔼 𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤 has been mostly dormant, 1st because covid shut down the world and music events, 2nd because I got a severe injury this year and just got spine surgery to regain feeling in my hands and alleviate the agony of chronic pain.

But the biggest discovery I made though this time is that 𝕓ℝ𝔸𝕍𝔼 𝔼𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤 is far more about the message and the people it reaches than it has ever been about hair.

That my passion is for helping people heal through sharing tools that helped me navigate my way to a whole and healthy future after multiple traumas.

As we move into 2022, you will watch this page transform into . As I start to write my book 📕 , and share excerpts of what I’ve learned as I head into 40 years of life in working through my own trauma recovery.

I am getting a certification this year and will be taking on a new type of client (with the same mission): to bring confidence, hope, & freedom from trauma wounds & help others rise up and !
