Had the pleasure of creating custom freckles for Oakland-based artist .tattoos 🤎✨

These are from her 2nd session—where we built onto her healed freckles to create a fuller, more seamless blend. This is where the magic really happens… layering, refining, and dialing in the perfect amount of “natural.”

A mix of healed + freshly added freckles = depth, dimension, and that effortless, skin-like finish.

Also, if you’re not already familiar with her work—she’s incredibly talented! ✨...........

This perfectly freckled nose is freshly poked at the 1st session - and while they look beautifully natural and skin-like, she's ready to go a little bolder at her 2nd session (which I love!).

Freckles are built in layers to account for every person's difference in healing:
• Goals for 1st session = soft + natural; building the base
• Goals for Perfecting Session = add depth, density, and/or definition; add more if necessary

Not one-and-done but perfected over time. ✨.............

This transformation is fully healed after just one session of lip blushing—and the difference is all in the borders.

Her natural lip color was very pale along the edges (especially the top lip), which can make lips appear smaller or less defined. By restoring pigment in those areas, we were able to rebuild the shape, creating the look of a fuller, more balanced lip—while still keeping everything soft and natural. 🤌

At her next session, we’ll:
• Add a touch more saturation
• Even out any lighter areas
• Further refine the shape............

Soft blush + a signature mark… but make it permanent (in the most natural way) ✨

This client came in for a mauve-toned lip blush to bring warmth and life back into naturally pale lips—paired with a subtle “Marilyn” beauty mark to enhance a mole she already had. The goal? Nothing obvious. Just… elevated.

What most people don’t realize:
These are technically face tattoos—designed to not look like tattoos at all.

Every pigment I use for freckles and beauty marks is intentionally selected to:
• Heal into a natural, skin-like tone
• Soften over time (never harsh or blocky)
• Fade beautifully with your skin—not against it............
Rubor suave + una marca icónica… pero permanente (de la manera más natural) ✨

Esta clienta vino por un lip blush en tono malva para devolver calidez a sus labios naturalmente pálidos, combinado con un sutil lunar estilo “Marilyn” para realzar un lunar que ya tenía. ¿El objetivo? Nada evidente. Solo… elevado.

Lo que la mayoría no sabe:
Técnicamente, estos son tatuajes faciales, diseñados para no parecer tatuajes en absoluto.

Cada pigmento que utilizo para pecas y marcas de belleza se selecciona cuidadosamente para:
• Sanar con un tono natural, similar a la piel
• Suavizarse con el tiempo (nunca duro ni marcado)
• Desvanecerse de manera armoniosa con tu piel, no en contra de ella
