Sooooo, I took a little social media pause. Sometimes you just get a little overwhelmed with it all 😮‍💨. Today I decided it’s time to go back to what inspires me. Art, fashion, architecture…all fueled by travel. I love seeing the world through a different lens. 🔮This was always one of my favorite looks that I created for a Collective show. I called it Digital Futuretronic 👾. I’m excited to start creating again! Who wants to collab with me??

I want to update you on my summer travel so you can plan accordingly. I will be leaving for Portugal on June 11th (the 10th is my last work day) and will be back in salon on July 9th. The final week before I leave is pretty packed but there is some availability the weeks prior.

✨ Look at these gorgeous results from the class at in Monterey yesterday. The stylists teamed up to conquer this black box dye color removal and provided our model with the Cowboy Copper of her dreams. ✨

1st we color removed her mids and ends with Chairlift lightener and Momentum 30 volume developer then tapped the roots with Electronica lightener with Momentum 20 volume developer. After pre-lightening we applied First Dance pre-color treatment and recolored with Star Sign crème Demi permanent and 5 volume Momentum developer. Color Formulas:
Root area 15g 6.0 (Moonshadow) +15g 6.3 (Beehive) +15g 7.4 (Penny Lane), Mids & ends 30g 6.3 (Beehive) +30g 7.4 (Penny Lane) +2g 6.55 (Valentine)
Processed for 20 minutes then followed with After Effects post color treatment for the win! 🤠 .luxbp

✨It’s always a pleasure when I get to do hair. We 1st met at Equinox where she was teaching my yoga class. Fast forward I have been on 2 yoga retreats with her & and looking forward to my 3rd next year 🧘🏻‍♀️ She is an avid surfer as well as yogi so we have to be very gentle with her looong locks as it sees its share of salt water and tight ponytails. We decided to give her a summer glow up but keep it lived in and seamless with a foilayage technique. After treating her hair with 1st Dance, I applied a full ruched foil pattern using R+Color’s Snowfall > Chairlift in the final sections with 10 volume Momentum developer. After processing we shadow toned with Stellar 8.0 (Flaxen) & 9.36 (Soothsayer) with 10 volume Momentum developer keeping the hairline and ends out for 15 minutes. The midlengths, hairline and ends were glossed with 10.03 (San Francisco) and 5 volume momentum developer. Finally treated the hair with After Effects. ✨ .valerie
