Located in a cozy loft in the Mission District of San Francisco, our services include haircuts, hair color, highlighting, weddings, updos, blow outs, and more. Our stylists are certified and qualified for all types of hair services, and we even carry carry a variety of quality products to enhance your hair’s health and beauty.

Happy Earth Day! For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of visiting us, I want to share with you what we do with the hair we cut. Instead of throwing it away, we recycle it! We make hair mats that absorb oil from oil spills. Here’s a short 1 min video explaining the process. Pitch Salon is located onsite where the mats are made.

Here at Pitch Hair Salon we do more than just give u great haircuts, we recycle your hair into hair mats that help to clean up oil spills!
We do more than just cut your hair, we recycle it! Our salon is located inside Matter of Trust, a non profit that takes hair and felts them into hair mats that absorb oil from oil spills.

We are happy to be back open! We have rearranged the set up at the salon so that the stations are right by the front door with fans on for good ventilation. Masks are mandatory, of course. We look forward to welcoming everyone back, safely.

1st outdoor haircut! So far we are only able to do dry haircuts outside. My beautiful client showed up with her hair freshly washed and her hair was dry so I decided to flat iron her hair smooth and cut it.

We are finally opening! We are working hard to make sure we open as safely as possible. So far we will be doing outdoor haircuts only. Once we get the go ahead to start doing indoor hair services, we are equipped with a well ventilated very large warehouse space. And we will be practicing strict sanitary procedures.
