Floor is finished, the painting is done. Waiting on the new Barber Chairs and the new front window sign! Refresh is almost done!
Phase One Complete: The painting is done. Take a look how great the shop looks as of Saturday.
After the forth night. The place looks great. Some detail work left. But this is how the new paint job looks. Next week, new floor!!

Besties Shopping & Services: Barbershop takes top spot again Shopping never really stopped during COVID. After the initial lockdown in 2020, most stores that were not deemed essential pivoted to curbside pick-up and online ordering.
This is after the third night of painting. The details still need to be done, but the colors are all correct. I am so damn happy with this.
After the second night of painting the shop is starting to come together.
This is after the first night of painting. The painters are really kicking it. Place is gonna look great.

John will not be in the shop June 2, 2022. He expects to return to the shop on Friday, June 3, 2022.
Most everyone is aware that COVID-19 vaccination status is important. And based on the news recently, I think it will become more important in the near future.
At the time of this writing, vaccinations are not required to get a haircut at the shop. It is currently requested that unvaccinated customers wear a mask.
All the folks who work at Joe’s Barbershop are fully vaccinated.
But things are starting to change. I understand that many of the bars here in San Francisco are either already requiring proof of vaccination status or will be very soon. And it is possible that this will become a state or city mandate.
The state of California has a website that will help you verify your status. It is easy to use, and once you have it, you can take a screen shot of it and keep it on you phone. And then you are ready for whatever the new requirements are. I am suggesting that you do this as soon as you can. Update any problems you find. [The first time I checked this website my second dose was not listed. But that was corrected.]
So, get ahead of the rush and do this now.
