As someone who truly loves dogs, it’s hard for me to share this update, and I’m sorry to have to say this.

In the past, we allowed clients to bring pets for convenience and because we personally love animals.

However, after reviewing ⛔️Cosmetology Board regulations and salon hygiene requirements,
we learned that allowing pets (other than service animals) inside the salon is not compliant and may result in
fines, official warnings, and in repeated cases, even temporary or permanent salon closure.

For this reason, effective immediately, only service animals will be permitted inside the salon.

This policy is necessary to protect both our clients and our business.

SoHair Salon is looking for an experienced hair stylist who wants to continue learning and refining their skills in hair cutting and hair color.

This is not an entry-level assistant position.
However, all experienced stylists who join SoHair Salon will begin with an assistant / training period to align with our salon’s techniques, standards, and workflow.

This opportunity is specifically for experienced stylists who want to grow further, not for those who feel they are already “done learning.”

•Experienced hair stylists (minimum 2–3 years of salon experience)
•Stylists who want to improve haircut and hair color skills
•Stylists who are open to starting with an assistant / training period
•Those who value education, structure, and long-term growth
•San Francisco residents preferred
•Professionals with a strong work ethic and growth mindset

If you are looking only for a chair or do not wish to continue learning, this role may not be the right fit.

🔹 Schedule & Work Structure
•Appointment-based boutique salon
•Start part-time: approximately 1–2 days per week
•Shifts typically range from 4–8 hours per day
•Schedule may vary depending on client bookings
•Flexibility is important, especially during the training period
