Whenever we faced challenges growing up, my mom would say, “Focus on what’s right in front of you and take it one step at a time.”
Well, last Sunday, after about 55,000 steps, she crossed the finish line and officially added to a list of impressive titles that also include , , and . We couldn’t be prouder! She’s an endless to her daughters and others. Love you, Mom—you’ve earned this!

When we dive into the "whys" and "hows" of our world, life gets WAY more interesting!
This past weekend, I got to "celebrate that curiosity at the iconic Fonco Studios, honoring the amazing legacy of Grant Imahara. Grant's love for engineering and his ability to break down complex ideas in accessible ways sparked inspiration worldwide. 🌍
Though he’s no longer with us, his impact lives on through the Grant Imahara STEAM Foundation, which is making STEAM education accessible to young people of all backgrounds. At the event, I met roboticists, combustion engineers, makeup artists, educators, and other science communicators—all fueled by a love for sharing the power of STEAM.🤖🎨🧬💡📚✨

This past weekend, my mom ran her ***VERY FIRST MARATHON*** at age 74! I just love that she’s still out there, growing, challenging herself, and doing amazing things. We’re all so incredibly proud of her! ❤️🏅

Jack-Jack’s been family since January. He loves his training sessions, morning snuggles, and making sure his owner stays on task while at the computer. 😹
I call him my little sugar shaker, because when I love on him, all that sweetness just pours right out!

I’ve always loved reverse-engineering things and figuring out how they work. While in the shower one day, I looked at the list of ingredients on the back of my shampoo bottle and realized… I didn’t know ANY of them. Are they safe? Do they work? Do they not? Who knows! I figured I wasn’t the only person in this situation and decided to use my love for science and engineering to decode the cosmetics in the beauty aisle. After all, we put these products on our body EVERY DAY. Shouldn’t we know what’s in them?
