Currently I'm obsessed with trying out different foundations ! I've been hearing the hype for years about Laura Mercier products and finally decided to give a few a try - I tested out some textures and selected two to try - here's today's choice Silk Creme Moisturizing Photo Edition Foundation {say that five times fast} I'll keep you posted on the results so far it's got a silky smooth texture that is lightweight but still gives decent coverage !

With New York Fashion Week 2015 officially upon us - I though it would be nice to reflect on the "fashion trends" from the runway 2015. I'm interested to see what happens this coming week on the runway -

I love how trends always imply themselves as being "new" "hot" and "the next big thing" but looking back I'm sure everyone will notice these trends have been around for years and years - on the runway they are just "restructured" and "reinvented" -

just think it's gotta be pretty tough for all those key MUA's to come up with new looks twice a year for these shows !

Felt good on Monday to do some makeup again -

Did an intense black smokey eye on this babe using gel liner as a base under the shadow ! One of the easiest ways to keep your smokey eye smoking all night long ! Also when blending out the black shadow and gel liner try using a matte brown shadow (I love something on the warm side) this will give you seamless blending and help to give some nice dimension to your look!
