I just turned 50. Still glowing. Still integrating. ☽✨

Fifty years goes by in a flash— and what remains when the smoke clears is love. Community. The faces of the people who show up and remind you why you came here.
I have been sitting with all of it, the decade behind me, the one ahead, the magic woven into the ordinary fabric of this life I have somehow built. And I wrote it all down.

If you want to tune into the full reflection— the Sadhanas, the stripping away, the signs from the beyond, the heart-shaped tree, the coming home— it’s on the blog. Link in bio.

We are all just walking each other home.

Happy Beltane, beloved ones.

As a Ta**us, I was born in the season of the Great Turning—when the veil thins not toward death, but toward life. When the earth remembers she is sensual, abundant, alive.

This year I have been on my knees in the dirt more than ever. Hands deep in dark soil. Planting roses—so many roses— like offerings to something older than memory.

Like I was completing a ritual I didn’t know I’d already begun.

This is my magic. This is always where I come back to.
The green. The green—that specific shade that only exists for a few weeks in May, electric and aching and impossible. The blooms unfurling like slow secrets. The Eros that moves through everything right now— through the bees, the blossoms, the warm wind. You can feel it if you stand still long enough.

Beltane is not a holiday to me. It is a homecoming.
I am Ta**us. I am fixed earth. I am the bull who stands in the field at dusk and does not want to leave because the light is too beautiful and the ground beneath my feet feels like a promise.

Plant something. Kiss the sun. Let yourself be a little feral.

The fire is lit. The flowers are opening.
Come back to your body. Come back to the earth.

He’s back for some more magic.

Last time Joss Jafe graced the Soulspace stage, the magic was undeniable — so we’re doing it all over again.

Come chant, come heal, come home.

“Loving yourself is not a prerequisite to loving others — it is the precondition of loving others sustainably.” A quote I came up with as we are in Anahata for my Seven Sacred Centers course.

The heart does not run dry when it is tended. It overflows.

In Bhakti yoga, the path of devotion, we turn the full force of our attention toward love itself — not as a feeling we wait to receive, but as a practice we choose to embody. We chant, we serve, we surrender. We learn that love is not a limited resource rationed out carefully to the deserving. It is the very nature of the heart when the heart is open.

The Anahata chakra sits at the center of the energetic body — the bridge between earth and sky, between doing and being. When this center is clear, we don’t love others instead of ourselves. We love from a place so full it cannot help but pour outward.

This is the teaching Bhakti returns us to again and again…devotion begins within. The kirtan, the puja, the sadhana, the surrender to the Divine — all of it is training the heart to stay open, to you first, then to everything.

You cannot pour from a vessel you have never filled. But a vessel that knows how to receive — that one never empties.
