This vlog is from the VERY first day of work at NailDar.No team yet, no academy, no busy schedules… just me opening the doors with so much excitement, stress, fear, and hope all at once.

Watching this today feels unreal because only 6 months later, so much has changed.

NailDar now has a growing team of 4 employees, The Academy officially launched, our schedule stays busy, and this vision keeps expanding more than I could’ve imagined in such a short time 🧡

Sometimes I get so focused on what’s next that I forget to stop and realize how far we already came in only 6 months.

This video will always remind me of the beginning — the empty salon, the quiet moments, only my loyal clients who followed me from the “home journey” to the “dream come true”… and how everything started from believing in one vision.

Short thin nails are not “weak nails”.

Most of the time, they’re just reinforced incorrectly.

The problem with short square shapes is that all the pressure goes directly to the corners and free edge — especially on flexible natural nails.

That’s why so many clients come back with:
• chipped corners
• detached free edges
• cracked overlays
• or lifting on the sides

Small structural details make a huge difference on these nail types.

Sometimes it’s not about adding more product —
it’s about placing it correctly.

And yes… filing underneath the free edge is one of the most overlooked steps when working on short square nails 👀
