I think women over fifty are constantly told to tone themselves down, wear less makeup, wear neutral colors and somehow become invisible. I completely disagree. Wear the bold lipstick. Wear the glam makeup. Wear what makes you feel beautiful and confident.
Beauty over fifty should still be fashionable, expressive and fun.

My styling Process Over 50.
try on three outfits with different accessories. I then photograph each look. I review each look and then choose the one that I feel most comfortable in for that event. The other, the other outfits get held for events that are coming up in the next two weeks. If you have a hard time picking an outfit, I encourage you to try this.

Started the afternoon at the iconic Top of the Mark InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco celebrating Halston, then rode through the city in Bentley Motors to Union Square, San Francisco in Bloom to watch the Academy of Art University fashion show.
Fashion, flowers, luxury cars, rooftop views, and the energy of San Francisco all in one perfect day. 💙
Moments like this remind me why I love this city so much. The creativity, the style, the history, the fashion scene… there’s truly nowhere like San Francisco!

How to style thrifted fashion over 50 💙

Tonight’s fashion show look is completely thrifted and vintage. I found this gorgeous baby blue lace sleeveless dress for only $20 and paired it with an oversized vintage tuxedo prom jacket from probably the ‘80s or ‘90s. The blues matched perfectly, and I added a fun thrifted statement bag for a pop of color.

This is your reminder that women over 50 do NOT have to dress boring. Fashion over fifty can be edgy, feminine, creative, elegant, vintage, trendy, and completely expressive!!

I honestly love styling thrifted fashion because it feels unique, sustainable, and way more interesting than fast fashion.

I spent the evening at the iconic Palace Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Francisco for a beautiful Napa Valley festival featuring breathtaking live music and incredible wine 🍷
Violinist Ray Chen with Chelsea Wang performed Mozart and Bach — and it was absolutely mesmerizing
Paired with wines from Napa Valley favorites like BV Vineyard, Sterling Vineyards, and Beringer… this was one of those unforgettable SF nights
