The Classified Staff at Lee County Schools 💙our community 💛need you to show up and support them this Tuesday July 14 at 5:30 for the Board of Education meeting at Lee Senior - my husband felt strongly that my sister Nannette Perry Mccoy and all the classified staff deserved to be paid more for the work they do because they teach, drive, feed, clean for them and most importantly LOVE our kids. If someone you know and Love is an employee it would mean the world to them for you to share this information on your page and to show up and support them. Salaries have been frozen since 2008 and it is time for that to change.

First I want to thank everyone for the kind stories and words about my husband and Thomas dad ❤️ It hurts my heart for all of you with children (and the adults too) who felt so calm and comfortable with my husband - his patience and kindness helped him tremendously in his job. Please stay on top of your medical wellness as even the smallest things that may go unchecked can make a difference. You would think his young age would make a difference but that is not always the case so I know he would want me to spread that awareness. Walking With Grace House is friends of ours who have a daughter that inspired the creation of this nonprofit and Thomas followed the travels intently. It is with a heavy heart that I share that my sweet, loving, husband and sons dad passed away peacefully yesterday morning 💔We spent the night prior playing Pokemon with Little Thomas and eating pistachios ❤️two of our favorite things to do ❤️we will miss him tremendously and I am so proud of everything he accomplished in such a short amount of time ❤️❤️❤️ He loved his clients tremendously and looked forward to so many conversations

The Lee County Libraries are thrilled to announce the upcoming annual LCL POP!-con and Renaissance Faire scheduled for Saturday, August 17th at the Main Library on 107 Hawkins Ave. in Sanford.

Event Details:
-Admission is free, and the event will be open to the public from 10 AM to 4 PM.
-The event will feature new and returning vendors, artists, crafters, authors, and food trucks
-Exciting activities include the annual Cosplay Costume Contest and Fashion Show, open to all ages.
-Highlights include: Fighting knights, Vikings, birds of prey, cosplay, musicians, and vendor street faire, artists alley, food trucks, fashion show, costume contest, bouncy house, tabletop and video gaming, and more!

Lee County Libraries host events like LCL POP!-con to inspire artists and entertain visitors, offering opportunities to explore interests, start new hobbies, or just looking to enjoy an exciting local event, the LCL POP!-con has something for everyone!
