The New Mexico mountains are calling my name again and I must go! ⛰️I’ll be away starting tomorrow 6/19-6/29 to be with my amazing family and refresh my soul! Founding Educational Experience

First, thank you to everyone who has already shown interest and commented REGULATE on my previous post. Your encouragement and support have meant so much as I’ve begun sharing this vision with the esthetics community.💗

Over the past several years, I’ve found myself asking different questions in the treatment room.

What is the skin trying to communicate?

What clues are we missing?

How do we move beyond simply correcting symptoms and begin understanding the “why” behind what we see?

The Regulated Skin Method™ was created to encourage estheticians to think differently, ask better questions, and explore the deeper connections between barrier function, inflammation, stress, lifestyle, hormones, and overall skin health.

This Founding Educational Experience will include:

I thought it might be time to properly introduce myself, especially as I begin sharing more of my heart and the work I feel deeply called to create.

I’m Carrie, a Licensed Esthetician, holistic skin therapist, educator, wife, and mom, and at my core, someone who truly believes beauty is so much deeper than what we see on the surface.

For nearly 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of growing in this industry, learning, teaching, connecting, and walking alongside women on their skin journeys. What I’ve learned is this, healthy skin is rarely about chasing perfection. It’s about understanding the why, honoring the skin barrier, and creating balance from within.

That philosophy has shaped not only how I care for skin, but how I care for people.

I believe in treating the whole person, mind, body, skin, and soul. I believe education is empowering. I believe healing happens when science meets intention. And I believe true beauty has always lived within you.

I’m so grateful you’re here, whether you’ve been with me for years or are just finding your way to this space. I can’t wait to share more, not just about skin, but about wellness, growth, intention, and the beautiful unfolding of becoming who we’re meant to be.

8 years ago, I walked up to the Sorella booth looking for one thing…
a facial oil.
I wasn’t searching for a new skincare line. I wasn’t searching for opportunity. I was simply searching for something beautiful, intentional, and rooted in true skin health.
That’s when Vanessa introduced me to Facial Nectar, and something in me instantly knew…
this was different.
What began with one bottle became so much more than skincare.
It became belief. Belief in skin health from the inside out. Belief in honoring the barrier. Belief in treating skin holistically, with intuition, intention, and care. Belief in a philosophy that aligned so deeply with who I already was at my core.
Looking back at these photos ,this little regimen Vanessa thoughtfully created for me, the shelves I proudly filled, the beginning of what would become such a meaningful part of my treatment room and my journey, I can’t help but feel the beauty of full circle moment!
Vanessa now serves as Director of Education, and through this brand, I’ve grown into a voice in education myself… teaching, mentoring, creating, and sharing from a place that feels deeply authentic to who I am.
That part feels especially meaningful.
Because Sorella didn’t create what was in me, but it helped awaken it, nurture it, and give it room to bloom.
For that, I will always be grateful.
For the people. For the trust. For the growth. For the alignment. For the soul behind it all.
Eight years later, I’m still learning. Still evolving. Still deeply rooted. And still incredibly thankful that one search for a facial oil led me here.
Funny how the smallest moments can quietly shape so much of your story.
