I started doing nails in 2015 & i had been taking so many nail classes to help me get better at it. I found and knew i NEEDED to learn from her.

I took her class in 2016, still so fresh in the nail world,  and out of all the classes I’ve ever taken still to this day, I’ll always remember the way that 2016 one changed my nail career for the better. Literally.

From then on i was always following her and learning from her.  So when i became affiliated with Kokoist, they started their educator program in 2020 and told me i would be their first educator next to PAOLA. Can you imagine !???

Me, who idolizes her skill and who has learned almost everything she knows from her, gets to be an educator NEXT to her. And now here we are 2026 a decade after our first meet, our friendship has blossomed, she has become a sister to me, and i STILL learn new stuff from her every time we are together.

So I’m honored to present you this press on collaboration featuring one of Paola’s signature designs and give back to her all that she’s given to me !

For Nicole’s character, Lace, we wanted a sparkly red nails to match her wrestling expo outfit!!!

So I used Nail Thoughts in Red Velvet as a deep ruby slipper glitter to start, then added my Nail Thoughts Flash Glitter top coat for an added pop of shine.

The flash glitter is a specific kind of glitter that’s shinier than regular glitter especially under certain lighting.

So I knew it would be perfect for moving around under the wrestling expo lights!!!

this is for all of you that are scared to start something, about to post something new, wanting to launch something- whatever it is!!!

I started comparing my press on launch to when i opened my salon and idk it really put things into perspective of just like wow.

God i was so worried back then of the worst things and i messed SOOOO many things up but omg! here i am still alive!!! And thriving!?

And then my gel line w , i was learning all over again (i still am!!!) but this time, welcoming all of the lessons instead of being fearful.

Because without them, i would be nowhere. ❤️

this french floral collab with Katie Dutra will always be sooo special to me because it was my very first press-on collab with another nail artist!!🌸

one thing i’ve always cared a lot about is creating press-ons that feel rooted in real nail artistry & designs made by nail artists, not big-box stores that love to steal from all of us. (swipe to the end for the screenshots!!!)

so getting to collaborate with another nail artist on a set like this felt really meaningful!!!
