As some of you have seen over on Instagram, I will be closing up shop and my last day in the salon is Sunday 10/24.
This was not an easy decision but due to financial and mental health reasons, I have decided to retire from behind the chair. I have begun finding new stylists to refer my clients to as well as take care of a few clients until I close.
Later this month I will be deleting this page and transitioning my Instagram into a personal account.
A big thank you to all of my clients that have been with me since the beginning when I was doing hair out of my kitchen. It’s been a wild ride and I’ve learned so much. Thank you!

FYI!
Wearing a mask indoors with others reduces the risk of both getting & transmitting the virus. We’re requiring masking for everyone while indoors at public settings & businesses, regardless of vaccination status so that we can stop the increased level of transmission we are seeing.
Update for the 6/15 LA County Reopening.

That’s right. As per the latest Stay At Home Order, I will be closed for the remainder of 2020. I have also disabled my online booking. If you need anything or have any questions, feel free to contact me! Until we see each other again, happy holidays and have a fun/happy/relaxing/and hopefully a COVID free new year!

Just a good reminder...
Open Zip Ties With a Broken Bobby Pin If you’ve got something that’s zip-tied together that shouldn’t be zip-tied together—whatever it is, for whatever reason—a broken bobby pin can be an excellent release tool.

Any kind of traumatic event can cause hair loss and it looks like COVID-19 is among them. Be safe out there everyone!
Some coronavirus patients report losing excessive amounts of their hair. Doctors say it's a response to trauma. Coronavirus patients may suffer from telogen effluvium, a condition that causes hair to stop growing after a stressful event.
