How long have you been telling yourself you’ll start when the timing is right?

Meanwhile,
another six months could go by
& you’re still wishing you had started sooner.

Imagine what those six months could look like if you spent them learning a new skill,
building confidence,
taking your first clients
& creating opportunities you don’t even know exist yet.

That’s why at SCALA,
we focus on strong fundamentals,
hands-on practice & offer continued mentorship options.
So you’re not left figuring everything out alone.

We help aspiring & trained lash artists go from feeling unsure of their technique to creating beautiful,
long-lasting sets that keep clients coming back.

Your lash career could open doors you haven’t even thought of yet.

But first,
you have to give yourself the opportunity.

I know we all have our favorites,,
Favorite clients,
Favorite products,
Favorite lash sheilds.

But now we’re curious…
do you have that ONE shield you keep reaching for?

10/27/2026

We love a go-to shield,
but if there was a one-size-fits-all shield,
there wouldn’t be so many out there!

Hooded eyes,
round eyes,
deep-set eyes…
every client brings something different to the lash room.

& knowing how to work WITH those features instead of treating every set of lashes the same?
That’s where the artistry comes in. 🤓

Because learning how to do a lash lift is one thing. Knowing how to customize one?
That’s a whole different skill

I think one of the biggest mistakes I made early in my lash career was expecting myself to be good at something I hadn’t given myself enough time to understand.

I wanted the beautiful sets,
the consistent retention,
the fully booked schedule…

ALL OF IT!!

But what I didn’t realize back then was how much of becoming a good lash artist happens between the appointments.

The questions you start asking.
The patterns you begin noticing.
The little things you change once you finally understand WHY something isn’t working.

& sometimes, all it takes is having someone with more experience look at your work & explain something in a way that finally clicks.

That’s a big part of why we built SCALA the way we did.

Because we know what it’s like to leave a training excited,
get back into your lash room
& suddenly have a hundred new questions.

We want artists to know that needing guidance doesn’t mean you’re behind.
It just means you’re still getting the hang of it.

& whether you’re brand new
or you’ve been doing lashes for years,
there’s always something worth getting better at.

Back in the classroom with the future beauty pros!!

Yesterday we got to spend the day with Lytle's Beauty College Mod A & B students,

introducing them to Korean Lash Lift, BOMB DUO, Brow Lami - Training & Supplies & sharing a little lash lift education!

One of our favorite parts of building SCALA has been getting to connect with aspiring artists before they even graduate.

Sharing what we’ve learned,
answering their questions
& hopefully getting them just as excited about this industry as we are.

&&&& speaking of education…

We’ve been working on a few things behind the scenes that we CANNOT wait to share with you lash babes.

Let’s just say,
if continuing your lash education has been on your mind,

you’ll want to keep an eye on SCALA.

To the girl who has absolutely no idea where her career is going yet…

👋🏽 Hiiiiiiii !!

Maybe you’re still in beauty school,
freshly licensed,
or already doing lashes

🤷🏻‍♀️ but wondering what else is possible for you.

😌 I hope you know you don’t have to have it all figured out to start building a career you genuinely love.

& you definitely don’t have to follow the same path as the artist next to you.

Maybe you’ll build your dream clientele,
open a studio,
become an educator,
work with brands,
or find yourself doing something you haven’t even thought of yet.

That’s a big part of why we created SCALA.

Not to tell you what your lash career should look like, but to give you the education,
experience
+ support to figure out what you want yours to become.

🤗 Because learning lashes can be the beginning of something so much bigger.

& whether you’re just getting started
or ready to refine your skills,

we’d love to be part of your journey.

The goal isn’t to pretend competition doesn’t exist.

Because,
of course it does...

We can work 5 minutes away from each other,
offer the same services,
use the same products,
charge similar prices

& technically, yes,
that sounds like the definition of competition...
Or can it be looked at as great artists just setting a standard?

somewhere along the way,
competition started turning into comparison.

Who’s busier.
Who’s better.
Who’s charging more.
Who has more followers.
Who got the opportunity.
Who got the client.

& when you spend enough time looking sideways, every talented artist around you can start to feel like a threat.

We’ve been there too.

But another artist being talented doesn’t make you less talented.
A client choosing someone else doesn’t mean there won’t be another client for you.
& sharing what you know doesn’t suddenly make what you’ve built less valuable.

If anything,
getting to actually know the artists around us has taught us the opposite.

We can refer clients when our books don’t align.
Cover for each other.
Share resources.
Attend each other’s events + education.
Ask questions.
Talk shop with someone who understands.
Celebrate growth, good work, & success.

& still go back to our own businesses
INSPIRED to be the best we possibly can for our clients & community.

You don’t have to make yourself smaller to support someone else!!
& you DEFINITELY don’t have to root against someone else because you want more for yourself!!

There’s a healthier version of competition.

& we’d really like to see more of it around here.

We care a lot about how artists feel after they leave a training.

Not just inspired for the day,
but actually more sure of what they’re doing when they’re back in the lash room on their own.

We want artists to leave SCALA feeling like they actually understand what they’re doing
not just memorizing steps.

To know what they’re looking at.
To know what to adjust.
To know why one technique might work better than another.

& to feel comfortable asking questions when something doesn’t go the way they expected.

That’s really what lash lift education means to us.

Not just another class.
Not just another certificate.

Actual understanding,
hands-on support,
& the kind of conversations that help you become more confident in your work over time.

It’s about learning.
About refining.
& having those “wait… why did that happen?” conversations in the lash room.

that’s part of why we care so much about teaching it well.

& So yes, if someone mentions lash lift education, we hope SCALA comes to mind.
