Cash is important to OUR LOCAL Economy.

using cash is doing.

Why should we pay cash everywhere we can
with banknotes instead of a credit card? 💳
- I have a $50 banknote in my pocket.
Going to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it. The restaurant owner then uses the bill to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the bill to pay the barber. The barber will then use the bill for shopping.
After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain $50 cash. That $50 cash has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment.
- But if I come to a restaurant and pay with a Credit or Debit card.
- Credit Card and bank fees for my purchase charged to the seller are 3%, so around $1.50. -Each small business owner is having to pay the ~$1.50 Credit Card and Bank Fee.
Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial $50 will remain only $5 😫 and the remaining $45 became the property of the bank 🏦 thanks to all the digital transaction fees and credit/debit card fees. Most times the bank and the credit card processor are NOT Local and therefore OUTSIDE of the LOCAL Economy.
Small businesses need your help and this is one way to help ourselves too. You personally can avoid some of the outrageous interest charges on your credit card. Pull out some small draws of cash and use that instead of tapping, inserting or swiping your credit card.
When this is put into perspective, imagine what each small business is paying on a monthly basis in fees at 3% per transaction through their POS machine.
If they have, for example, $50,000 in sales & 90% are by Card, they are paying $1500 in fees in ONE Month. $18,000 in a year! That comes out of their income every month.
That would go a long way to helping that small business provide for its family and be better able to support the LOCAL economy and other small businesses!🏦♥️"

Be understanding of your hair professional. We are experiencing a lot of financial fluctuations while also still trying to stay above water during this later part of the Pandemic.

Many of us are self employed and rely on repeat clients. However, because the working world has been forced to change, this has caused clients to come less frequently. So while planning our schedules…and yes, our salaries…we are trying to regain our ground. All while prices for EVERYTHING we use go up. In some cases double and triple.

So this isn’t only hitting us like it is for you. This pandemic and these price hikes are hitting us both in the homefront -where we need our salary to pay for our personal lives- but also in our businesses where we pay another rent, purchase the colors and products we caringly choose to use on you and the furniture and utilities for all!

We are not big box stores. We might be LLCs, but we are not big corporations who have prudent reserve and investments to pull from (at least not all of us…yet). So when/if we raise prices we are not trying to steal your money for our own gain. We are trying to survive!
