Wanted to post this for everyone who searches for hair inspo looks online. Lighting makes a HUGE difference with color. Realize when you share that inspo photo with your stylist, they may be deciphering the lighting before they formulate. We took this photo a minute apart, one with the blinds down and the other with the natural light coming through.

Color Correction on my first-time client. She came in with substantial natural regrowth, old red low lights, and blonde highlights. My job was to make this look like something intentional, so we opted for a strawberry blonde finish with the intentions of going a little cooler w/ the blonde in the future. It’s important to keep it real with your clients and explain your process.

She asked for something sassy and different. Based on her inspo pics, we went from caramel blonde to a rich Merlot colored pixie for the fall! All that’s missing is the sweatah weathah.

It had been 30 years since I saw these girls last, and reuniting with them in Savannah was the most welcomed surprise. Ellicott City representing. ❤️😎
