I’m beyond excited to share that “The Willet Pose” won 1st Place and Best in Show in the Creative Nature Category at the 8th Annual OIWC/GNPA Photo Contest! This is my first Best in Show in a statewide GNPA contest, and I’m incredibly grateful.

“Clam Creek Reflections” earned 2nd Place in Coastal Landscapes, and “Eagle Portrait” placed 2nd in the Found at Oatland Island Wildlife Center Category. More than 170 images were submitted by GNPA members statewide!

Milky Way from the old fisherman's pier on Tybee Island the other night.

Leftover gasses in the atmosphere above the life guard stand from the SpaceX Falcon9 after the launch. This is from the area that the 1st stage rocket booster separated and actually went back to land at Cape Canaveral, FL.

The SpaceX Falcon9 heavy payload launch as seen from Tybee Island North Beach this morning! It was awesome! The 'cone' kept getting bigger and longer. The tail end is where the rocket boosters separated. Simply Amazing...

A few pics from an island up the road a bit... Edisto Island in SC. It was actually a disappointing trip. 2 hour drive before sunrise and the place we wanted to get into was closed due to a hunt...
