As our nation celebrates 250 years of freedom, history, and resilience, we're reminded how blessed we are to call this country home.

It was one of the greatest honors of our lives to serve this great nation. We proudly took an oath to support and defend the Constitution and to defend the freedoms we celebrate today.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, we do so with grateful hearts and deep appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy and for all those who have answered the call to serve.

Three days ago, I celebrated my 53rd birthday. Every birthday is special, but three days later I'm always reminded that my mom passed away on June 30th at the age of 53, the same age I just turned.
I miss her every day, but especially today.
I love you, Mom. Thank you for inspiring the path I'm still walking. ❤️

Just a little recovery update... ❤️

I'm officially 11 days post-op from my hip replacement, and somewhere in the middle of all that I celebrated my 53rd birthday! 🥳 It was filled with so much love and kindness that it became a birthday I'll never forget. Every day I'm getting a little stronger and a little better, and I'm so thankful for each new milestone.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, prayers, messages, flowers, meals, treats, and well wishes. Your love and encouragement have meant more than you know and have made this recovery so much easier.

Thank you, too, for your patience while Gypsy's Lotions & Potions is temporarily closed. I can't wait to get back to creating products and seeing all of your smiling faces again!

Until then, I'll keep focusing on healing one day at a time. I truly have the best customers, and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️

Before anyone asks, yes, that's my son John in the background photobombing me. 😂

Today was my first in-home PT session, and I learned how to go up and down my stairs. It may seem like a small thing, but it feels like a huge milestone to me.

I also want to thank everyone for the flowers, gifts, visits, calls, texts, prayers, and well wishes. Recovery goes so much smoother when you feel loved and supported, and I truly appreciate it all. ❤️

Hello everyone! All went well with my hip replacement and I will be discharged today. Thank you to everyone for all the love, support and prayers. It means more than you know.

As I wrapped up my final shows before surgery, I just wanted to say thank you.

I thought everyone had already stocked up, but seeing so many familiar faces this weekend meant the world to me. 💜

It's been a busy few months, and by the end I was definitely doing more hobbling than walking!

My surgery is Wednesday, and I'll check in from time to time with updates. And if you happen to see any wild or crazy posts over the next few days, please blame the meds and tell my family to take my phone away. 😂
