My Lash Tech Story

I first started practicing lashes in December 2023 after I asked my parents for lash supplies for Christmas. I would literally beg my friends to let me practice on them at the edge of my bed lol.

As I started getting better I moved upstairs to the renovated attic bedroom the OG clients know exactly what I’m talking about. Then on February 20th 2024 I took my first non friend paying client the official start of LashesxKyra.

At the time I was a senior at Samuel Clemens High School passing out business cards in the hallways and leaving them in bathroom stalls just trying to get my name out there with the help of my friends of course.

After I graduated I spent the summer saving every dollar I made from lashes to go to beauty school. I started at Ogle School on September 9th 2024. It was a long 10 months but I graduated on July 22nd 2025 got my license on August 21st 2025 signed the lease to my very first studio and officially rebranded from LashesxKyra to LavishxKyra LLC.

Now here I am two years in with the most amazing clients and support system I could ever ask for. Whether you have booked with me referred someone or even just followed my page thank you. I truly could not have done this without yall 🤍
