Lash Vacay

I like using the Dotted Method when mapping because every person is unique in their own way! All eyes are different, so this way allows you to customize the map and tailor it to your specific client!

Step 1: you’re going to use you skin safe mapping pen by . Have your client look straight ahead & mark the eyelid on the inner and outer part of the iris, the pupil, & the arch of the brow. I call this The 4 Core Dots!

Step 2: after you’ve chosen the best mapping for them & they are prepped and ready to go, you will add your transitional dots as needed for your mapping. ( I like to start from the longest sections and go down and add any dots as I see fit).

Step 3: I like to cap all the sections off so I have a visual representation of the shape of the map (because I don’t like writing the lengths down 🙃🤫) but if you like writing the lengths you’re using you don’t need to cap off each section… or do, up to your style of mapping🙌

For this client we not only decided to do more of a cat eye mapping based on her eye shape and facial features… but I blended light hearts Everything Black lashes with their Berry Beautiful shade (which is a brown shade with a hint of purple) to soften the set and make her eyes POP! This is more than just color matching, it’s matching the clients undertones!
