Downtown Scottsdale Hair & Nails

Today is the last day I will check in here as the owner/technician!
As of May 1st Jaclyn is the new owner of Downtown Scottsdale Hair & Nails! (Soon to be Downtown Scottsdale Salon)

Mom and I are moving to her home in Globe. I’m taking a year off to refresh her home, RELAX, get her garden back to beautiful, spend time with my sister and enjoy just being responsible for what’s directly in front of my face. I’m even putting my nail supplies in storage!

Through some hard work and dumb luck I’ve been been able to keep my salon going for almost 30 years during some pretty awful times in my life, the economy and the world.
I am so grateful and honestly, pretty darn proud of that...
But sometimes the timing is just right and after making the decision in late January, everything has really fallen into place. I can’t think of any other time in my life when this would have been possible.

My salon has always been a labor of love 💕 I will miss her, my stylists and my clients SO SO MUCH but that’s not something I can even talk about yet without crying my face off. So many crazy fun times, too though! (thank goodness the walls can’t talk, right Jen !?)
If the salon was just closing this would be so much more difficult.
I simply ADORE Jaclyn and I’m looking forward to seeing what she does with the salon to make it her own.

I didn’t talk about my move in advance (except for clients) because, most importantly, goodbyes have been really hard for me 🥺. Like, really hard.
With the pandemic I knew it would be impossible to see everyone

I’ll be posting all of our before/after photos of Sleepy Hollow here and on Instagram. I’m so thankful for all of you and social media so I can stay in touch with everyone.
