Dermaplane
First time Dermaplane on my lovely client AnnaMarie. Her skin is normally neither oily or dry but as you can hear, she had a lot of dead skin (and some hair) to be removed. I used my favorite enzyme mask from with some steam to prep her skin for the treatment. What a difference the made. I didn’t take before and after because remembering is my weakness 😩 but her face looked brighter and healthier after we were done. Dermaplanes are my number 1 requested service but are not always suitable for dryer skin types. is a great alternative and produce similar, but different, results; peach fuzz is not removed but *dust* is still created while circulation of blood stimulates the skin cells by transporting oxygen and stimulating the lymphatic system. ✨ Chemical Peel Set Up ✨
Chem peels are great for accelerating the process in which skin naturally turns over. Great for lifting pigment and smoothing out over all skin tone and texture. Alternating between chem peels and dermaplanes or microneedling is a great way to encourage skins natural ability to renew itself. Most of the products I use at home.
My favorite products right now are the Hyaluronic Acid boosting serum from PCA, C-ESTA Serum from Jan Marini, Bioglycolic Serum (not pictured cause I’m out 😩) (0.02% tretinoin cream hiding in the back) Glycolic Cleanser from Jan Marini, Face Lotion from Jan Marini, from , Clear Skin from PCA, and Total Strength from PCA. And can’t forget Skin Zyme Mask from Jan Marini. The from PCA is amazing because it replenishes skin and doesn’t make you oily. Everyone should have this serum. The C-Esta from Jan Marini firms and and smooths out skin , as well as brightens . This is the serum that has everyone telling you how good your skin looks. You will glow and have strangers complimenting you. The Luminate from Jan is also amazing for any sun damage and from acne. I want to say the Lytera from SkinMedica works just as well in this exact way but maybe a little quicker and better...? I don’t know, they are both amazing. The Mask from Jan Marini is my go to when I have dead dry and flakey skin that my makeup makes worse and more apparent. I love my Intensive Brightening from PCA but I do tend to abuse it and cause some seriously flakage. Skin Zyme softens and removes the dry and built up dead skin so your is soft and smooth.
I LOVE Lash Conditioner, again people will be asking you where you get your lashes done. I use it at night a few times a week. Use consecutively for the first few months. And lastly I love the Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF from Jan Marini. It’s light and smells amazing. I mix it with my liquid foundation in the summer to give me a lighter coverage so I don’t melt. And the Sheer Tint SPF is an amazing makeup primer and also has a bit of color to it, just enough to tone down any redness you may be having. And I can’t forget Vaseline. I only use Vaseline on my lips. It’s the only thing that doesn’t dry them out.

Volumizing Primer and Tinted Primer in Brown. The blue tinted lash primer reflects light to brighten eyes and lengthen and add volume to lashes. I don’t wear black mascara, or mascara at all, so I love the They’re Real Brown Tinted Lash Primer from Benefit. The brush is my favorite and the formula is thin & buildable. In addition, I use the eyelash conditioner from Revitalash once or twice a week. These are must haves. I have nothing in my brows, just a I did 2 weeks ago and some hairspray I brushed through with a spoolie. My skin is peeling from the I did 4 days before I took these photos.
