On this leap day marks 20 years that I have been a professional in the Haircare industry. Along this journey I’ve seen so much change. From corded tools to cordless, from writing names down on a book to having an app for online booking, from fades and edge ups to blurry blends and enhancements, from $5 cuts to $50 services and the list goes on. As I acknowledge the changes I’ve seen in my 20 years I can’t help but to recognize the 1 thing that remained consistent...and that is the love and support from my family, friends, clients and fellow haircare counterparts. Year after year the support grows and it truly is fuel to the pursuit. I’m forever thankful for each person that’s every gave me a chance to service them or even attaching my name in a references. It’s that kind of love and trust that keeps me pushing. Special thanks to my parents Diedra Edwards and Alvin Edwards and my mentors Gus Lewis, the departed William Webb and Rosby Fletcher and a host of many other impactful people.
