It’s difficult to post about hair right now. There is a plague devastating our country. ICE and its brutal and inhumane practices have broken families, laid waste to communities and preyed on the most vulnerable amongst us.

Small but collective efforts can make a real difference, and we’re choosing to get involved by hosting a cute little speed dating event. Vendetta will be donating all any and all proceeds from this event to La Resistencia (), which is a local organization dedicated to helping fight the current evils we are witnessing. Although Washington is considered a sanctuary state, that does not mean that we are completely safe.

This immigrant-led organization uses your donations immediately for mutual aid. All funds will either go towards funding commissary accounts and deposits for those who are detained or supporting individuals who have been deported by ICE. They do incredible work fighting one of the largest privately run, ICE detention centers in the country (the Northwest Detention Center), located in Tacoma. They provide support and aid, advocacy, community organizing, rapid response, etc. 

If you are happily boo’d up but still wish to participate any way you can. Feel free to donate to them directly or come drop off a cash donation to us.
We will match any in house made donations dollar for dollar!

This will be hosted at our salon and with our neighbors at Either/Or Vintage ()

We are looking for 12 open-minded individuals who are interested in a semi-traditional style speed dating night of fun.
