Hi friends!

I am very excited to announce that I am moving to NYC! My last day in Seattle will be July 31st.

At this time, I have no more available appointments to offer in July. If you have an appointment this month, please keep that in mind as I will likely not be able to reschedule. I will no longer be keeping a cancellation list, but you can turn on my story notifications to be alerted for any last minute availability.📱

The feelings towards this move are so bittersweet. I am beyond grateful to have had 3 1/2 successful years here in Seattle, but I am ready for a new adventure on a new-to-me coast while I have the opportunity. 🌸

I want to thank all of you for supporting me through the pandemic and for all of the time, laughs, tears and wonderful conversations we have shared. It has been an honor to have your trust and loyalty for these last few years, especially in difficult times. Each of you have left your mark on me, and I hope that I was able to deliver you services that brought confidence and helped you feel taken care of. So, thanks! And HUGE thank you to

I will be taking a much needed break from the industry when I arrive in New York. I hope to return to work when I feel comfortable and rested in my new home. Updates on my return will be posted on my Instagram and though the mailing list, as well as any updates on possible future pop up shops in new or past locations. 😉

Meet stylist and salon owner Alysia ✨

Alysia has been doing hair in Seattle since 2012. Washington has been her home all of her life and she has spent the last 15 years building her community in the north Seattle area.

“Owning a salon was something I had never dreamed of but through exposure to different salon atmospheres, I slowly learned that I wanted to create a small and cozy salon that embodied individualism and extra care for salon guests and stylists. I have been in business for 5 years now- previously called The Ransom House of Hair. I opened Elevate Salon Experience to be a clean air salon that also uses low toxic chemicals and non toxic products for a safer and healthier salon experience.

Over the years I have dialed into my abilities and really enjoy all scissor and razor haircuts, hair color and specifically creating dimensional color applications without using bleach/lightener. Although I do love a good low toxic lightener for blonding services. My dear friend trained me in red and copper hair color formulas and applications and it’s since become an obsession.
I enjoy keeping up with my education and learning new techniques. I look forward to in person classes again.

It’s important to me that you feel comfortable in the salon to freely express yourself while we work together to reach your hair goals.

Outside of the salon I love spending time with my husband Adam and my pup Norman while we go on weekend adventures. In the spring and summer months I like to work on my veggie and flower gardens and to be outside as much as possible.”

Meet stylist Alex ✨

“Ive been licensed for nearly 8 years, and prior to that found my love for hair in high school as an amateur stylist for myself and friends!
-
My biggest initial motivator to become a hairstylist was how quickly I could start my career right after high school. It ended up being a great creative outlet for me and helped me break out of my introverted shell.

My favorite parts about hairstyling include enhancing someone’s curl/wave pattern and teaching them how to work with it easily. I love the freedom and playfulness of a razor cut. Funky, unconventional haircuts and color are also so much fun for me to do. I love hearing wild ideas from clients and bringing them to life.

Some things that bring me joy are my two cats, baking, rollerskating, playing video games, antiquing, spending time with animals and being in nature. I am a maker and love to create with anything I can get my hands on.

I am an extroverted introvert, an empath who wants to help everyone, a little silly and sarcastic and I can be passionate about a lot of things at once. My biggest goal as a stylist and what makes this job so worth it is creating a safe space for everyone in my chair, making them feel welcome, relaxed and taken care of.”

Meet stylist Haven ✨

Originally from Alaska, Haven is happy to call Seattle home these days! She lives in Queen Anne with her partner Zach and their senior Boston Terrier Reggie.

Haven has nine years of experience behind the chair, and particularly loves anything to do with blonding - especially balayage! She loves working with natural waves and curls and crafting intentional haircuts using a combination of shears and a straight razor. Low maintenance hair is her jam! She’s super inspired by the natural texture and bouncy blowouts of the 90’s, as well as classic shapes like bobs and pixie cuts.

Beyond hair, Haven loves baking (always has a sweet tooth!), chatting makeup, pop culture and astrology, and seeing every single picture of your pet.
