This is what real acne transformation looks like.
This client and I have been working together for over a year, not weeks, not a “magic facial,” not a trending peel.
The majority of her acne was non-inflamed congestion. It’s deep under the layers of the skin, stubborn, slow-moving, and often harder to correct than surface breakouts. On top of that, she experienced hormonal flares, which meant progress wasn’t linear.
There were ups and downs. There was purging. There were moments where it felt like things were getting worse before they got better.
For the first part of our journey, we focused on barrier repair, inflammation control, and consistent in-studio treatments. Then, about six months ago, we introduced a Mixi skincare routine, which really accelerated her results and helped her finally break through the toughest congestion.
