To anyone who knows me.. I have talked many a times to clients about product diversion.. as a salon owner and hairstylist, this is a real dilemma in our industry. In our industry we have buy back programs from our suppliers, in which we can swap out product lines, oz for oz and/or bottle for bottle, anywhere from haircare products to color line. This process allows us to try new lines of products without any loss. Those products that are swapped out generally are thrown away by the supplier. Dumpster diving is a real thing. So the next time you feel that you are getting a REAL deal.. your best bet is to support your hairstylist/salon for the best products recommended for you. Good chance you are being fooled otherwise
