Reflection time 🌟
January 15th 2019 is when I started on a path I never thought I would take. 1-15-20 is when i graduated and started a whole new career path. It seems like it was yesterday but I can’t believe it’s been 6 years since I walked into hair school not even knowing what God had in store for my life. If you’d told that 26 year old girl she’d accomplish as much as I have in 6 years I wouldn’t have believed it. Are there still times i question whether I made the right choice? Absolutely but I think everyone does. Today I’m choosing to be proud of myself, through the imperfections, the mistakes I’ve made and those i will inevitably make in the future. To the amazing clientele I’ve built, thank you! You’re truly the reason I keep going. To my salon family Angela, Savana, and Kaeleigh, you guys have truly reinvigorated my hope and vision for the future. To Amy, you know I never would have done this if it wasn’t for you, your faith in me is the only thing that started all of this and I think I’ve finally started to carry that faith myself instead of relying on that in others. The growth I’ve made not only in my craft, but professionally and personally has been astounding. I’ve still got some growing to do, and I always will, but today I’m choosing gratitude and self assurance which in and of itself is a major feat conquered. Cheers to the next!
