The rest of May’s camera roll … New Zealand has been good for my soul … took me out of my comfort zone in the best way … met some AMAZING women that I know will be forever friends … crazy how much we have in common … looking forward to more adventures with them. Lots of shopping … lots of laughs … lots of wine 😂 🫶🏻

“That Wanaka Tree” …. The most famous and most photographed tree in New Zealand. I was holding it in the palm of my hand today 🫶🏻 What a blessing. The last few days have been filled with indescribable joy. I am so grateful 🫶🏻

Have you ever had one of those moments where you just know you are exactly where you are supposed to be? I had that yesterday. Took a last minute tour to Kiwi Park in Queenstown, New Zealand, and as I was walking around …. I looked up at the beautiful, cloudless sky and I felt God say … I’m proud of you, your dad is proud of you, he is with me and we both want you to be happy. Wow. And today, today feels a little less heavy. I miss my dad. A lot. But I am taking the steps to start REALLY living. Someone once told me “Life is short and full of trouble” …. I agree, but I am here to say ….. I’m going to make the best of the rest of it 🫶🏻

It’s Friday! May 15th! Here is some of my halfway thru May camera roll. Still grieving, missing my dad. But always looking for the little things that make me smile. I have been asking my friends to talk to me about some “nonsense” 😂 something to make me laugh. Let me tell you, I have some amazing friends. I hope I’m half the friend to them as they have been to me the last few weeks. So grateful. I hope you all have a great weekend and 🫶🏻

It was a bittersweet day today. Losing my dad just a week ago was hard on all of us. But we are trying to get thru it the best we know how. And to celebrate all of the wonderful things in life …. Just like he would want us to. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful mothers! I hope you did a little self care today!! P.S has an AMAZING brunch on the weekends! You need to try it!

I’m going to shoot it to you straight …. Things are not easy right now. My dad is going through it with his health, BUT we are trusting God for healing. I totally believe in prayer and positivity. So if my dad comes to your mind, say a prayer for him.
With that being said … I am posting alllll of the positive things!
Today I am thankful for my amazing doctor … Dr Natalia Luraguiz. I had a check up yesterday and when I tell you I left that office feeling so uplifted! Every single person there makes me feel special! I also decided to try a new treatment they offer … Xerf ….. so far I LOVE it! I will report back with results (did the back of my legs) and if it only gets better from here, I am SOLD!
Celebrated a fabulous friend’s birthday last night at Koi. Amazing place to eat in Shreveport. If you havnt tried it, you need to!

Ali and Jennifer had an amazing time at the International Congress of Esthetics and Spa show in Dallas! They learned so much and are bringing a few new treatments back to Shreveport!
