For years the word BALAYAGE has been misused inmensly in the beauty industry and it is our job as professionals to educate our guests 👨🏻‍🎨

A true balayage is done by hand painting the highlights (not by foiling) and achieving a natural sun kissed aspect . On a natural brunette this will always lead you to a warm to neutral end result depending on your previous color history which can be glossed to adjust the hue to your desired tone. It grows out super seamless which makes your color a lot more low maintenance.
Not everyone is a candidate for this technique* it all depends on the look you are going for.
In this case it was the perfect technique to use along with soft feathery layered haircut and a 90s model inspired blowout 🌬️

Hi! Just wanted to share some pics of this beautiful hair transformation and the detailed description on how her salon visit consisted of 💇🏻‍♀️🎨🪩✨✨

It had been about 9 months from her last visit,
Started off cutting off about 5cm to reshape and get rid of split ends 🔪
We did a full head of teasy lights, tipped out her ends to brighten them up a tinny bit. I toned and bumped her base slightly just to soften her natural level 2 and did a root tap. I always do a hydrating/replenishing masque and scalp massage after every highlight session. 🧖🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️
We then finished up doing a bouncy blowout 🧚🏽

A little bang never hurt nobody 💥
I think a fringe is such a fun way to switch up your look ! One thing though, you will have to style them no way around it unless you just love how they dry on their own 🤷🏻‍♀️ really has been out here inspiring us girlies to chop it off ✂️ 😍.
And I just love how her color turned out, it will grow out so seem-less and that blend will carry her through the next 3-5 months when it’s time to touch up her new growth or switch up looks 🔁 .

Hi guys! As most of you know our little bundle of joy will be here any day now. We are beyond excited and ready to meet our baby girl and soak up every minute we get as a family of 3 during my maternity leave.
As of now my plan is to come back to work in mid September if Gods will everything goes smoothly during her delivery.
In the meantime I have been referring my clients to my coworker . I trust Skylar to take care of my clients providing the same quality of service I do. I have no doubt some of you will love her and want to stay with her which I would not be at all hurt or upset if you chose to do so 🫶🏼.
As I come back to work my time behind the chair will be more limited and I will be focusing on refining my service menu to only work that reflects me as an artist and fills my soul with pride and joy. 💖

Thank you for supporting this new chapter of my life, I will keep you guys posted here when I am ready to begin filling up my books again ☺️🤗.

We love how this dimensional brunette turned out, she was previously a heavy highlight with tiped out ends but we decided it was a good time to allow the hair to heal and grow for some months.
Knowing when to give your hair a break is so important! ! 💖
Now our appts consist of a root smudge to blend a few natural sparkles, a melt down to refresh her ends, a hydrating / strengthening masque and a light trim.
All while using professional at home haircare and trying to minimize the use of heat **
