Tammie & I are so excited for this new chapter in our lives. We’re going to continue to work as stylist, just not owners . We want to thank all of our stylist and customers over the years . We’ve had 23 wonderful years owning Shear Creations Hair Salon. We’re super excited to pass the torch to Kendra @ Glitz & Glam . We can’t wait to work with all the stylists & continue to do what we love. We’re so happy Kendra Mcclard Parks will be coming home & continue her new chapter in her life. We wish nothing but the best for Kendra & all the stylist at Glitz & Glam.

The annual Heroes BBQ Cook-Off is back! For only $15, you can try the best BBQ in town cooked by your friendly neighborhood deputies, officers, and firefighters.

HURRY! There are only 100 tickets left. No tickets will be sold at the event happening 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 at 2010 North Market St. behind the NLTCC Building E. To purchase a ticket, contact 318-221-8601.

This event, hosted by the North Shreveport Business Association, benefits local first responders by financing their needs. This means the money goes back to benefitting you — the community! For more information contact the NSBA.

We are back at work. Please be patient we have 3 months of customer to try to get in. The customer’s that we had to cancel that already had appointment when this all started, the clients that started texting and calling after a month in to this.We will get everyone done as soon as possible. We are working from 7:00 am till 9:30 pm even on Sunday and Monday’s to catch up. Thank you for understanding. We are definitely trying our best.
