Doing everything… except keeping up with my IG feed 😅

Between running KKay Beauty, being a mom, taking my UGC class, trying to get back into the gym, spending time with the people I love and preparing for some exciting changes, life has been LIFE-ING.

I’ve still been working, creating and building behind the scenes—I just haven’t been the best at bringing you along. So here’s a little life + business update before I catch you up on everything I’ve been doing 🤎

Summer has been BUSY, and I know the moms get it 😅 Between park days, restaurant dates, doctor appointments and getting everything ready for school, these kids have kept me on the go!

For the past month, I’ve been diving into something new—your girl is officially learning all about UGC! 🎥✨ I love learning, evolving and challenging myself because, as you know, the sky is the limit. So get ready to see me creating and posting a lot more around here 🤎

After nearly a year of inconsistency—and more than eight months away from the gym—I finally made my way back! 🙌🏽 It definitely hasn’t been easy, but getting started was the hardest part. Now, we’re only going up from here 💪🏽

And no matter how busy life gets, I’m prioritizing quality time with the people I love most ❤️

Five years ago, I took a leap of faith with nothing but a dream, a treatment bed, and the determination to create something bigger than myself.

Today, KKay Beauty turns 5 years old 🤍
These five years have tested me in every possible way. I’ve celebrated incredible wins, questioned myself more times than I can count, cried in empty treatment rooms, doubted whether I was good enough, invested every dollar back into my business, and kept showing up—even when it would’ve been easier to quit.

I built this business while raising my babies, navigating life as a single mom, and refusing to let my circumstances define my future.

What started as a small skincare studio has grown into KKay Beauty Studios & Academy—a place where I not only help transform skin but also educate and empower other beauty professionals to build the careers they dream of.

This year has been especially emotional. Losing my dad changed me forever, and there has been moments I didn’t know how I was going to keep moving forward. But I carried his strength with me every single day. I’m sure he’s looking down today thinking, “Mija, lo lograste.” 🤍
