Which one would you rather have?

Extensions are becoming SO popular nowadays! With popularity, it is common to find that more and more stylists are starting to offer extension services. It is such a fun world and I’m happy more stylists are joining in!

My one piece of advice to a client wanting extensions is - do your research! I don’t care if you don’t choose me as your extension artist but my goodness, please make sure you are making a good choice and spending your money wisely!

Something I pride myself on is that I value continuing education and I invest a lot of time and money into it. Your extension artist should be well educated so they can give you the very best outcomes possible while maintaining your scalp and hair health✨

I’ve been pretty quiet lately in my little corner of social media!

I’ve actually been keeping myself pretty busy! The main thing I’ve been working on is online training and education. It’s getting me so excited to have my clients back in my chair!☺️

How are you keeping busy at home?

Over the weekend, I said “see you later” to my little home away from home.

I went back and forth on the decision to temporarily close my studio. I was terrified, because it’s literally my livelihood and how I pay my bills. However, I knew deep down in my heart that I could not comfortably serve my clients knowing the severity of this illness and how quickly it has been spreading.

I was constantly checking city updates to see if anyone could offer any guidance as to what the heck self-employed hair stylists should do, and really wasn’t finding any answers. So, after many sleepless nights, LOTS of cancellation texts from clients, and an emotional breakdown, I finally decided to make the decision.

This is definitely not how I expected 2020 to go like, especially after years of working my b***y off to be where I am. I really thought this was gonna be my year! I guess the universe had other plans so I’m just rolling with it.

I’ll be doing lots of work on the back end of my business while taking a break from behind the chair. I really don’t like it, but it is what it is. 🤷🏼‍♀️
